Ambassadors of Hope

Honouring Champions of Roots & Shoots India

At the Jane Goodall Institute India, Roots & Shoots has always been more than a programme — it is a movement of compassion, action, and hope. It grows because of remarkable individuals who go beyond the call of duty to nurture young people, build communities, and create a better world for people, animals, and the environment.

To recognise these extraordinary champions, JGI India has launched the Ambassadors of Hope initiative. This honour is reserved for principals, professors, educators, and supporters who have stood by us selflessly over the years, opening doors, building partnerships, creating resources, and inspiring countless young changemakers.

Why Ambassadors of Hope?

The name reflects the spirit of these individuals: they do not just support Roots & Shoots — they carry its values into their schools, colleges, and communities. They give their time, creativity, and energy freely, believing in the power of young people to make a difference.

Whether it is initiating collaborations between institutions, designing banners that carry Jane’s dream forward, or sharing photography that brings nature closer to young hearts, their contributions have shaped the Roots & Shoots story in India.

A Circle that Grows

With each new Ambassador, the circle of Hope expands. It becomes not just a recognition but a community of educators, creators and changemakers who are lighting the way for future generations.

We are deeply grateful to our Ambassadors of Hope for standing beside us, walking with us, and reminding us that change begins with small steps, nurtured by those who believe.
